Student Travel Award Application

FAB offers travel awards for students attending annual meetings and taxonomy workshops. Awards will be given based on the applicant's distance in relation to the event location and responses to the questions listed below. The deadlines for submitting applications for the events are listed below.

Deadline for Submitting Applications for the 2026 Spring Taxonomy Workshop on Leeches:
The deadline has been extended for submitting applications for the 2026 spring taxonomy workshop on leeches to April 15!
Applicants will be notified by April 17 if they were awarded travel funding or not.

Qualifications:

Full-time graduate or undergraduate student currently registered at an institution

Award Amounts:

$250 for annual meeting or taxonomy workshop
$500 for combined annual meeting and taxonomy workshop
