FAB offers travel awards for students attending annual meetings and taxonomy workshops. Awards will be given based on the applicant's distance in relation to the event location and responses to the questions listed below. The deadlines for submitting applications for the fall workshop and annual meeting are listed below. Deadlines for Submitting Applications for Student Travel Awards: Annual Meeting: October 31 - Applicants will be notified by November 3 whether they were selected for the travel award or not.
Qualifications:
Full-time graduate or undergraduate student currently registered at an institution
Award Amounts:
$250 for annual meeting or taxonomy workshop
$500 for combined annual meeting and taxonomy workshop
