2026 Membership Dues - Please pay by February 15th
Support our organization this year by joining or renewing your membership before February 15th. Membership benefits include discounted rates at workshops and meetings, being added to our mailing list so you receive our bi-annual newsletter and notifications of any upcoming events, and being able to vote in our upcoming officer elections. Membership funds also help us bring in world-renowned experts for our taxonomy workshops.

Please note that FAB has recently introduced student membership rates, so review options carefully. Call for Presentations
We welcome oral presentations and posters on any topic pertaining to aquatic animals or plants and their taxonomy, systematics, ecology, biogeography, physiology, behavior, or other topics related to aquatic habitats, communities or populations. Presentations or posters on methodology or experimental design are also appropriate and welcome. Submittals from students are particularly encouraged and as an incentive, students who deliver an oral presentation or poster will have their meeting registration fee waived.
Please see the 2026 Annual Meeting Announcement for additional details on oral and poster presentation formats. Please submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations by August 21, 2026.
Student Presentation Awards
FAB provides a relaxed, yet professional, opportunity for students to acquire presentation experience and expand their resumes. Registration fees will be waived for all student presenters.
